It took about a year to record, but
as I work all day at Crazy pig, I can only record at night sometimes untill 2 or 3 a.m.
It was recorded on a FOSTEX 16 track tape machine analogue. I play all the
instruments and also programed the drums using an MPC 3000. I used vintage guitars and
vintage Marshalls. All the sounds on the CD are actually guitars not keyboards. Only
"The memory of water" has a Kurzweil keyboard. I wanted a lot of Crazy
guitar sounds on Rides Again. The first 500 CD's have a mistake on the sleeve, "Fish
like swimming" and "A hole in the wall" are in reverse order. "A
hole in the wall" is dedicated to Jimi Hendrix. I used a Marshall stack and a 1963
fiesta red strat and an old WAH for it and only one guitar take, one bass take and stereo
simple drum kit.
The CD was finished at the beginning of April 2000 and it is available through Crazy
pig at £10 each plus £1.50 postage.
I have a great guitar collection that might interest the magazines....
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely.

Rides Again/ARMAND SERRA
